What's next in public service people management?


PPMA and CLGdotTV to collaborate on four programmes focusing on key issues facing employers and employees in the public service sector.

In 2019 CLGdotTV is working in collaboration with think tanks, professional associations, not-for-profit organisations and independent experts to produce a range of programmes around key topics for public service leaders, policy and decision-makers at all levels. Collaborators include LGiU, CIFAS, PPMA and SOENECS

A collective voice for a highly qualified, passionate, committed and diverse public services HR and OD community, PPMA plays a critical role in influencing key decision-makers and stakeholders involved in people management and workforce issues. Between May 15 and December 4 CLGdotTV will broadcast a series of four webTV programmes and six podcasts made in collaboration with the PPMA

May 2019 - Podcast with Joe Tibbetts and Karen Graves discussing public sector employment agenda for next 12 to 24 months

May 2019 - An Audience with CLGdotTV  recorded at the PPMA Annual Conference, Birmingham topic bullying in the workplace, with Karen Grave PPMA president on the panel. We will also be recording four Head to Head interviews with industry thought-leaders at the event.

June 2019 - An Audience with CLGdotTV recorded in London topic how to attract, nurture and develop talent in public sector organisations with Leatham Green PPMA CEO on the panel

July 2019 - An Audience with CLGdotTV recorded in Leeds topic tbc with Lorraine Hallam PPMA Vice President on the panel

September 2019  - An Audience with CLGdotTV recorded in Birmingham topic tbc with Steve Davies PPMA Vice President for Regions on the panel

October 2019 - Podcast with Vicky Sargent, Karen Grave and Leatham Green discussing lessons taken from the four programmes and audience feedback

NB As with all CLGdotTV programmes the four webTV programmes will also be released as podcasts

The first programme will record on 15th May at the PPMA Annual Conference, Hilton Birmingham Metropole 14th- 16th May and will be available on-demand Monday 20 May
